Guest lecture minor Entrepreneurship for Society

For the minor ‘Entrepreneurship for Society’ I was asked to deliver a guest lecture on october 2nd 2014, at The Hague Campus of University of Leiden.

Minor description
‘In this minor 33 students work on a prototype of a social enterprise, targeting challenges like:
  • the surplus of energy of data centres,
  • reward systems for volunteers,
  • youth unemployment,
  • bee extinction and
  • vegan food.
They have to make a business plan, implement it and do research about it.  Next to this, they have to learn skills and therefore we want to introduce the maker movement. Therefore we give an introduction to the concept of the maker movement and also workshops to actually make things themselves.’
