Thinking inside the box

An Ultimaker 2 has a build volume of 120 x 120 x 115 mm. This gives you the opportunity to build very large objects, like chairs or cars.  The chair from Joris Laarman for examples has a ‘puzzle shaped’-form and you can actually sit on it. When you can think in 3D and think in elements that can be connected to each other like pieces of a puzzle, then your possibilities inside-the-box can be extended way out-of-the-box!
